Senior Design Director (UI/UX)
Looking to help build the next-generation experience firm? We are looking for a Sr. Design Director reporting directly to the VP, Design here in our Atlanta office.
This person will oversee multiple projects through execution, contribute to the development of digital and experience strategies, drive collaboration between creative, user experience, account and strategy teams, and inspire teammates at all levels to exceed expectations. S/he will also provide the best in service and relationship management to our clients.
The successful candidate is a true collaborator, keeps up-to-date with innovative work across industries, can share and advocate for internal and external best practices, inspires others to push the envelope and continually thinks of new ways for us to be engaging, always.
You must also be a magnetic personality – who convinces with reason, emotion and conviction that you and your team’s perspective must be readily heard.
a Visionary: Enamored, passionate and articulate about concepts such as design thinking, innovation, problem solving methodologies, experience/service design and interaction design in new and unexpected ways.
a SME: A strong working knowledge of the fundamentals—interaction design, user-centered experience design, brand development, service design, design thinking and the creative process—as well as new platforms and technologies for the digital channel and related media.
a Leader: We need people who are confident with everything from team building to mentoring to guiding large groups of talent. You will need to be able to provide clear creative direction, career path guidance and timely and helpful feedback to improve processes and workflows to keep work on budget and schedule.
a Storyteller: Excellent presentation skills and communication abilities at all levels of both internal and client organizations.
a Task Master: Strong ability to prioritize work and resources across engagements based on short- and long-term need. Timelines, budgets, and availabilities change—we need someone who can roll with it.
